Dinner Menu

Dining at Cook’s House is table d’hote (host’s table), which means fixed menu.

But do not despair, you will be asked for food preferences and dislikes (and dietary needs) to ensure you are absolutely delighted with your meals.

Smoked paprika and tomato soup
Guinness Pie with garlic mash
Side of glazed carrots
Orange bread and butter pudding with cointreau and Maleny Guernsey cream

Menu 2

Goats cheese in walnuts over peppers with beetroot dressing
Coq au Riesling with lemon roasted potatoes
Side of green salad
Chocolat fondant with homemade caramel icecream

Menu 3

Parsnip and roasted garlic soup
Fresh salmon fillets with basil cream
Side of warm beetroot, bean and walnut salad
Tarte au citron with Italian meringue and Maleny Guernsey cream

Menu 4

Spiced carrot soup with coconut cream
Beef cheeks braised with vanilla, saffron and orange and crushed roast potatoes
Side of rocket and parmesan
Pear tatin with homemade amaretti ice cream

Asparagus soup with tarragon cream
Slow roast leg of lamb with anchovies, garlic and ginger beer with dauphinoise potatoes
Side of zucchini with mint and almonds
Cherry puddings with crème anglaise

The food at Cook’s House follows the philosophy of slow food. Wherever possible local, organic and ‘in season’ food is cooked slowly with love and lusciousness!
